Olaya Amor-Gutiérrez is a PhD student at the Department of Physical and Analytical Chemistry in the University of Oviedo. She obtained her B.Sc. degree in 2014 at the University of Oviedo and her M.Sc. in Analytical and Bioanalytical Sciences in 2015 at the same University, with the work entitled "Paper-based enzymatic biosensor".
Olaya Amor-Gutiérrez has been involved in two projects from the Spanish Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness (MINECO). She has also been member of the Organizing Committee of the "II Workshop on Electrochemical Devices and II Workshop Electrobionet" held in Mieres (Asturias, Spain) in 2017.
Her research interests are focused on the development of miniaturized electrochemical devices based on low-cost substrates for the detection of different biomarkers with interest in clinical diagnosis.
